I just have a comment and that is that the article fails to mention some other reasons why Mexico is very attractive destination for companies engaged in manufacturing.

The accounting systems are the same or very similar that the FASB used in the States and therefore transparency is assured
Mexico allows the investors to repatriate the any revenue from operations if the company so wishes. China in the other hand does not!!
Mexico also has very good skill force and work ethic that allow us to compete bis-a-bis with anybody
Due to NAFTA goods produced in Mexico are free of tariffs and can reach the shelfs of the distributors in less than five days, thus reducing the inventory costs
